Every lost dog and cat has an owner somewhere.... The second Battersea 'R' stands for Reunite, as our Lost Dogs and Cats Line is dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their owners.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home received 7,000 stray dogs and 2,000 stray cats in 2005. To ensure that as many of these pets as possible go back to their rightful owners, we run the Lost Dogs and Cats Line, which works in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police, council Animal Wardens, animal welfare charities and veterinary surgeries to create a central database for lost and found animals in the London area.
