Recruitment for all three sites (Battersea (London), Battersea at Old Windsor and Battersea at Brands Hatch) is co-ordinated by the Personnel department, based at London.

Legacy Assistant - Battersea
We are currently looking for a Legacy Assistant to provide administrative support to the Legacy Officer.
Duties include: corresponding with Solicitors and Lay Executors; examination of estate accounts; recording legacy payments and notifications; legal research; maintaining records and other ad hoc duties as required.
Charity, legacy or legal experience an advantage. Applicants must have a high standard of computer literacy.

Rehomer - Battersea
Rehomers deal mainly with the public wishing to rehome a Battersea dog or cat. Although they will spend some time hands on with the animals, their main activity is interviewing potential owners and matching them to a suitable animal.
Rehomers use a computerised matching system and their own skill and training to find the right homes. The successful candidate should have previous experience working with rescue dogs and cats, plus excellent customer care skills.
Applicants should be friendly and approachable in attitude and have some computer skills, preferably using a database. It is a stressful environment, with a need for tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff, volunteers and members of the public, so the ability to cope under pressure is essential.
This full time roles requires flexibility, with working hours based on a 40-hour week, seven-day rota which will include weekends.

Head of Rehoming - Old Windsor
We are looking for an experienced supervisor, with at least 2 years experience of working in a rescue environment, to head up a team of 7 Rehomers and 4 Home Visitors.
Candidates must have proven excellent communication, administration, staff management and training skills, plus previous experience of working with the general public and appreciate the need to provide the best customer service possible.
Being part of the management team at Old Windsor this is a supervisory role and it envisaged that the rehoming team would increase in size in the near future.
The role requires flexibility, with working hours based on a 40-hour week, working on a seven-day rota, which will include weekends.
You will need tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff, volunteers and members of the public; the ability to cope under pressure is essential.
The salary for the role will reflect experience. Accommodation on site is optional (the cost of which will be deducted from salary)
