Whiskey was brought to Battersea by a dog warden who found him wandering the streets, he was very frightened and confused on arrival but has settled in to a typical Terrier full of confidence. Whiskey is not as cute as he looks and will need experienced rescue dog owners or people that have owned similar feisty Terriers before.

Whiskey is definitely not suitable as a 1st time dog or for the less active home looking for a quiet lapdog companion to spoil and baby. Most Terriers were bred to hunt small animals and many will usually still have these instincts, Whiskey is no different and has strong hunting instincts. He loves to chase small animals and this can include flying birds or planes in the sky!!

With experienced owners who will be in control from day one Whiskey will make a super fun and comical addition, he just needs training and guidance. Active and outdoor loving owners are needed to keep up and provide the stimulation required to keep this little livewire happy. Due to unknown past we do not know what Whiskey is like when left alone or how he travels in a car.

Whiskey cannot live with children, an all adult household is preferred to give him the consistency required although older teenagers would be considered. Whiskey is social with other dogs but not overly tolerant and likes to be in control, he could possibly live with a confident adult female but nothing toy or food obsessed as this may be a point of conflict.

If you feel you can offer this cheeky boy a new home then please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or apply online.
