Tyler was brought to Battersea as his owners was moving house and were unable to take him with them. Tyler is typical of most male adolescent Staffordshire Bull terriers, he is boisterous and cheeky but also very loving and enjoys cuddles. A sense of humour is needed for this boy, he is a real clown and will make you laugh with his antics!
Tyler is looking for experienced owners who have owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers, rescue dogs or similar Bull breeds before, he is not suitable as a first time dog, most Staffordshire Bull Terriers need experienced handling and training.
Tyler is social with other dogs but can be a bit of a hooligan, he could possibly live with an older and strong female but not another bull breed type. Tyler does lack some self control so he cannot live with young children, older teenagers would be considered that can help with the training and daily care of Tyler.
In his previous home Tyler has had some basic training, he travelled well in a car and was housetrained. Tyler has been crate trained and we advise new owners continue with the use of this especially when leaving him alone, he can be left for short periods in a crate with no problems but will need plenty of exercise beforehand.
Tyler is a fantastic youngster with lots to offer a confident and experienced home, if you can offer him a home please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or come in to one of our rehoming centres for a registration interview.
