Trixie Dixie

Trixie arrived at Battersea in October as a stray so her past is unknown. Trixie is a real live wire & definitely has the Terrier spirit and character. Sadly Trixie is not coping well in the kennel environment and is desperate for that special home to spend the rest of her days.

We think Trixie is a Terrier cross with a Whippet, she will therefore be a fast, energetic and a fiesty dog but with a loving nature. Ideally Trixie is looking for experienced owners who have owned dogs or Terrier types before so they will be able to work through her food & toy possession, which is still controllable at this stage. 

Trixie is a clever girl and very trainable, she will just need firm owners to be in control from day one. Out and about Trixie is social with other dogs but cannot live with another dog  due to her possession problems. Unknown if compatible to live with cats. Unfortunately Trixie cannot live with children, older teenagers may be considered. Trixie will need her new family to be confident and consistent in her training.

Once settled and with guidence Trixie will make a fun addition but owners must appriciate the Terrier nature and what comes with them. Trixie is not a little lapdog to spoil and needs owners in control.
