Independent but charming chap. He's a little worried by new people and environments, but comes round very quickly, and turns into that feisty, cheeky terrier we all know and love. He's a bit of an escape artist and will need a very secure garden that he can't get out of. He's an active lad that will need to be kept well stimulated or he will find his own entertainment!
Due to his breed type, and that he came in as a stray. We are looking for new owners that have had Parson Russell terriers previously, and know what to expect. Tom wouldn't be suitable to live with young children due to his wary edge around new people. Due to this, any potential new owner will need to live in a outer London location where there will be less going on for him, and he can slowly start to build in confidence.
Don't be fooled by his cute looks, as once he settles into a new home, Tom will need to know where he stands in the household. Otherwise he has the potential to turn into an unruly terrier! But with the right form of guidance, Tom should make a great companion for that Terrier enthusiast.
