Suzi

Suzi was brought to Battersea as her owner died, a family member kept Suzi for 2 months but could no longer offer her a home as Suzi was not happy being left alone. Suzi has gone through a stressful period with the loss of her owner and lots of change in her life so is likely to be anxious and will need time to settle.

Ideally Suzi needs experienced owners, although Suzi has had a rough time recently she is a manipulative lady who knows exactly how to get her own way and will need owners to be firm and consistent from day one. Do not be put off by Suzi's age she is full of energy and loves nothing more than playing fetch and running around.

Suzi is affectionate and cheeky she will make a fun addition to most households, she already knows many commands, travels well in a car and is housetrained if not left alone. At this stage Suzi cannot be left alone, she is anxious and is used to having constant company but new owners can work on this and could build up the time she is left alone slowly.

Suzi is social with other dogs but cannot live with another dog as she can be jealous over people or items she classes as hers! Previously lived with cats and could possibly live with cats again, would need to be tested at Battersea before going home. Suzi cannot live with young children, teenagers would be considered that can help with training.

Suzi still has plenty to offer, she is in good health for her age and will leave Battersea with 6 weeks free insurance from Petplan, if new owners continue with this policy Suzi will be covered for the rest of her life with Petplan.
