Alfie's a lovely mature, social lad who has ended up in here through no fault of his own. His previous owners had separated and neither of them could take him with them. He's very playful, and loves to run around in long grass. He can be a little vocal at times when he doesn't get his own way, so any new owner will have to be quite firm with his initially while setting up the boundaries of what he can and can't do.
He's finding life here at Battersea a little stressful and will time to settle into his new home. We are looking for an adult household with experienced dog owners, who have ideally owned large breeds previously, like German shepherds etc. You will need to live in an outer London location and have a secure garden for added stimulation. He will need someone who's around for most of the day, as he doesn't like to be left alone for long periods. Alfie could live with another female dog, although it would all depend on how they got on when they were introduced.
