Shy Sandy

Sandy was found wandering the streets, she was micro-chipped and our lost dogs & cats department located an owner but sadly they rehomed her previously and were not in the position to take her back themselves. Ideally Sandy is looking for experienced owners used to similar large breeds e.g. Rhodesian Ridgeback, Mastiffs, Boxer etc.

It has taken Sandy time to settle and bond with a few members of staff, with strangers she is nervous and appears under-socialsed in general, Sandy will take time to settle so owners should be prepared for this. Once she knows you and feels confident Sandy is a different dog, she is a real cheeky character that will make you smile!

Sandy is still young so has the potential to grow further, she needs a large home and garden in a quiet environment, she is sound sensitive so cannot live in a busy location, ideally a rural or semi-rural area is needed. Sandy will need owners around the majority of the time, she is still a pup but also requires all basic training and social work from scratch.

Unfortunately Sandy cannot live with children, she is too nervous and needs the correct approach to prevent this becoming a problem, an all adult household is needed. Sandy would benefit from living with a confident adult male role-model, must be a beneficial match for both dogs, 100% match needed.
