Scruffy is a 1-2 year old Jack Russell cross who came into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in June 2005. Scruffy is an excitable, interactive, fun loving young terrier, who has a slightly wary side in new situations.

He is easily distracted by other dogs and easily gets over excited. He is an active boy and not for someone who wants a lap dog. Scruffy has great potential with owners that have the right attitude to his training.

Scruffy is looking for:

• Owners who ideally have had experience of owning terriers and/or dogs with either handling or possession issues


• Owners who are around most of the time and are able to build up leaving hours gradually


• Active lifestyle with time to initially invest in giving the guidance Scruffy needs 


• A semi-rural environment preferred, without too many other dogs as he is easily distracted


• An adult household without any children


• Scruffy could possibly live with a mature, female dog.
