Oscar

Oscar is a bright young lad who likes to interact with people. As he is an Akita cross Rottweiler he does have a confident, cocky side to him. Like most youngsters in this age group he really thinks he's the bee's knees.

Oscar is very responsive to vocal commands with or without a reward & he offers some very nice behaviours for food, so his new owners should use this to their advantage.

Oscar likes toys and he interacts well with them, however he will require some structure and control to games as he can be a little boisterous and mouthy at times.

Oscar is still very juvenile in play when around other dogs and he can be a bit of a bully with them if they allow him to be, however he will listen if told off by a mature dog. We will not be rehoming Oscar into a home where there is another dog as he requires a lot of one to one training.
We are looking for-

*Owners who have solid experience in owning confident guarding breeds

*A single or multi-adult household

*Oscar is unable to live with children due to his boisterous nature at times

*Short leaving hours to begin with

*Semi or rural area with a low dog population

*Large home & secure garden

*A home visit will be required
