MAX

Max is a fun & excitable youngster who has great motivations for training. He is sociable, responsive & extremely friendly with people. when it comes to living with another dog we would only consider Max to live with a confident female dog & as long as it is a perfect match.
Unfortunatley Max has slight hip dysplasia in one of his hips so although still young, exercise will need to be monitered carefully so that he doesn't over exert himself to much in one go.  Owners need to be aware that he may need to have some further treatmen t later on in life so addtional costs may come with owning Max.  Our vets will discuss this problem in more detail with any prospective owners.
Toys are one of his biggest motivations and will pretty much play with any toy he is given. Owners are encouraged to maintain control in games but also keep it fun and creative for him.
Food is another big motivation for him and will be a great training aid for his new owners to use.
Max is a little wriggly on handling & he tends to get himself a bit stressed during this procedure so before any formal handling should be done a good bond will need to be built.  He does like to be in the company of other dogs and is very playful. He can be a little clumsy at times but overall shows some nice behaviours around them. He could live with a well mannered older female dog that will set him some ground rules to follow.

We are looking for the following home-

*Strong owners with experience of owning large strong dogs & who will be able to handle him
*Multi-adult home
*Possibly live with older teenagers who can also handle him
*Rural area with good burn off areas
*Large home & garden
*Short leaving hours
