Mickey

This 1-2 year old Bearded Collie cross old English Sheepdog was handed in to Battersea in April of this year by his previous owners who were unable to cope.
Despite his young age Mikey has some behavioural issues that will need a lot of understanding but also some hard work from new owners
He is extremely sound and visually sensitive and matching that with some practised attention demanding behaviours these problems could get worse if not tackled properly
These behaviours include reactiveness towards cars, smoke, hoovers, washing machines these are amongst many others

The criteria set for the home that Mikey needs is very strict but essential he needs :

? Adult household, sorry no children

? Rural location
? Experience of bearded collies or border collies preferred
? Experience of behavioural issues such as chase issues, sound sensitivity etc also preferred

? No cats
Mikey is a vibrant dog and can be great fun, highly toy motivated and very trainable with an experienced handler, but owners must realise that if Mikey's obsessional behaviours aren't tackled it could be very detrimental to Mikey's welfare.
