Mason was born at Battersea in May 2006, he was then rehomed but sadly returned as his new owners dog wasn't happy with Mason in the home. Mason is deaf and ideally needs owners who have dealt with deaf dogs before as he needs all basic training from scratch, he is not suitable as a first time dog and will require dedication.
Like most Terriers Mason is high energy and full of character, his new owners must be outdoor loving and energetic to keep up with him and provide enough stimulation. Mason will be a challenege but he is intelligent and very trainable, owners will just need to be patient and consistent.
Being a puppy Mason cannot be left for long periods and will need to be housetrained, whilst he has been at Battersea he has been crate trained and it is advisable that new owners continue with using a crate. Mason is social with other dogs but can be a bit boisterous, he would benefit from living with another dog but it would need to be a good match.
Mason is a social dog but needs consistent handling so unfortunately he cannot live with young children but would be fine with visiting children of any age. Mason is a true rescue dog needing patience, time and dedication. If you feel you are up for the challenge and can offer Mason the home he needs please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or come in to register.
