Molly originally came to Battersea in 2005 as a tiny pup with the rest of her littermates, she was then rehomed but sadly returned as her owners had a disabled son which Molly couldn't cope with at times. Molly was then rehomed in 2007 but again sadly returned in March 08 due to her new owners ill health.
Molly is under-socialsed and anxious at times, she will need experienced rescue dog owners or people that have dealt with nervous dogs or Terriers before, Molly will need patience and understanding from her new owners.
Molly does have a nervous edge but she also has a manipulative and cheeky side and she will rule the roost if allowed, she is not suitable for people looking for a lapdog to spoil or mollycoddle as she will become more of a problem.
Molly has been fostered by a member of staff, she is doing really well in the home and proving to be a fun and loving little Terrier. Has been crate trained and is learning to be left for short periods with success. Molly is sound sensitive so cannot live in a busy or built up location, semi-rural or rural preferred.
Like most Terriers Molly is active and intelligent, she will need owners who can keep up and provide enough mental and physical stimulation. Molly is housetrained and travels well in a car, she cannot live with cats or children, an all adult household is needed. At this stage Molly cannot live with another dog, although social when out and about she can be jealous within a home environment.
Molly will be a rewarding challenge, she has so much potential and will be a fun addition in experienced hands. If you feel you can offer this little bundle of energy a home please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443, apply online or email us on [email protected]
