Special Lady

Lady is a 6 month old German shepherd cross who came into the home as a stray in late February. Lady was extremely wary of people when she first arrived at the home and particularly with men. She has improved and become more confident during her stay here however still needs a lot more socialising and on going training. Lady is very good with other dogs and could possibly live with a mature dog. However new owners will need to do lots of one-one training with Lady away from any other dogs in the household. As Lady is still only very young she will need owners who have limited leaving hours to help with housetraining and spending time alone gradually. Lady needs to live in a semi-rural environment and with adults only due to her wary nature and needing 100% consistency in training. Once Lady gets to know you and you gain her trust she is a loving, affectionate and playful companion.
