Joe Joe

This cute guy may bark at you when he is in his kennel but he is as quiet as a mouse at home. How do we know? Because his foster mum, who has been caring for him for the last month, tells us so! She also says that Joe Joe is: * Housetrained * Settled down into a routine after just two days * Sleeps alone in the living room at night * Can be left for 3 hours -- so long as his chew is big enough! * Great on lead -- no pulling * Waggy-tailed with people * Loves cuddles During his fostering Joe Joe has blossomed into a friendly, easy-going old boy who loves playing fetch with you as well as quietly relaxing in his bed chewing on his rawhide ring. He can quite happily complete an hour long walk although he is equally content with a 20 minute trot around the park. Joe Joe is looking for a permanent loving home with no children and can live anywhere that is not a built up busy area providing he is near a park. He is not to live with other dogs because he can get barky around them, although there is absolutely no malice in him, unless of course you mention the word 'Cats!' Oh, and we should mention that he does make funny 'Joe Joe' noises at times when he meets another dog or is playing with a toy -- a sort of grumble under his breath but don't worry it means nothing and is just part of the package that makes up this unique character. Joe Joe needs down-to-earth experienced adult owners who will allow him to be himself and in return this great Labrador Cross will make a smashing companion.
