Attention all dog lovers, this little appeal is for you.
Can you help little Gordie, a gorgeous little westie who has a congenital condition called locked jaw. There is no medical treatment for it and a realistic life expectancy. He does have a small gap in his mouth where he can be fed from but new owners will have to mash up his food and hand feed him, could be quite a messy job for both. Gordie will not be able to go for long walks as he finds it difficult to pant. He is not able to live with other dogs or children and really needs some one on one caring.
New owners will need to be extra careful to keep Gordie out of harms way because he cannot have a general anesthetic.
If you think you have to time and patience to care for Gordie, please come to Batteersea dogs and cats home in London and register.
