Gem

Gentle Gem is an intelligent sweet well behaved girl with a fun-loving cheeky side. This brave pup has recently lost one of her forelegs but she has not let that stop her getting around and having fun! Gem is a fabulous young girl with lots to offer and despite all she has been through is loyal and trusting with people. She is currently in a foster home to help the muscles in her legs get stronger. Her foster mum says that Gem is:
*Housetrained except for the odd accident when she cannot get out quickly enough
*Settles in very quickly
*Sleeps throughout the night downstairs.
*Can be left on her own for two hours without any problems
*Great with dogs when out in the park and loves to run around and play with them.
*Lovely with people and very very cuddly!
Gem is looking for new owners with the time to build up her walking and exercise. She can possibly live with another dog who will be a good role model for her and could also live with sensible teenagers.
However Gem can be a bit of a stubborn madam at times if she does not want to walk or get out of her bed. She loves her zzzzz!
Gem's foster mum does have a cat but Gem will chase her so she is not to live in a home with a cat.
