Fun Flo

Flo was returned to Battersea in March as she became jealous of the other dog in her house. Flo is social and playful with other dogs out and about on walks but due to her history we feel it is best she is the only dog in the house. Not compatible to live with cats. To look at you wouldn't say Flo was a Collie but her brain is 101% Collie and she has many breed traits, for example :-  high energy levels, very intelligent, loyal, loving and has a high chase drive with other animals and moving objects. Flo will need experienced dog owners preferably people who have owned Collies or similar high energy working breeds/types. This dog is no couch potato and really needs active outdoor loving owners prepared to give her the daily stimulation needed, if bored Flo will find her own amusement. Ideally Flo would need owners who would be prepared to participate in agility, flyball or similar doggy sports. Flo would excel in these types of sports and it would really keep her stimulated and happy, which means she should be easier to handle and not so manic. Being an intelligent girlie Flo is trainable and could learn lots, she already knows some basic commands and would do cart wheels for a tennis ball or treats! Previously housetrained and travels well in a car. Cannot be left for long periods, will get bored and find her own amusement. Due to her energy levels and chase drive Flo needs to live in a semi-rural or rural location with plenty of open spaces locally for good walks. Fun and loving livewire with so much potential, with dedication and patience in experienced hands Flo will make a fantastic addition.
