Des is a real terrier through & through, he is a confidant & independent, aloof boy with a sensitive side also. He is a busy & active little man who enjoys the busy life & not a sitting around doing nothing lifestyle.

* Des is a playful & interactive chap & is happy to retrieve the toys you throw for him, but he finds it more enjoyable for you to have too chase him around while he has the toy. We do advise his new owners not to encourage this, & instead teach him a swap command instead.

* Des is highly motivated by food & he does have very good control of himself when around it. He does appear to only know the sit command at present, so food rewards will make a perfect training aid for his new owners.

* Des does generally interact well with other dogs but he can be a little o.t.t around other dogs & funnily enough He is also quick to tell off other dogs that are too o.t.t with him. So due this reason we will not rehome des into a home where there is another dog living.

* Des is looking for owners with very good terrier experience who know all about the breed & there traits. His new home will need to be in a semi-rural area with a good selection of parks & woodlands with a low dog populated area. Des will unfortunately not be able to live with children.
