Cookie came into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in July 2007 as a stray. She is a 6 to 12 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier ( the current photos were taken about 3 months ago). Cookie is a very active and incredibly intelligent puppy. She is a typical Bull breed, boisterous, enthusiastic, out going and loving. She can get over the top and still needs lots of training. She has mixed with other dogs and has not shown any hint of reactive behaviour but does get a little carried away
Cookie is looking for:
- Owners that have a good level of experience with Bull Terriers, preferably strong-minded females.
- Cookie will need to be rehomed into an adult-only household with no children and no visiting children.
- Cookie will need to be rehomed into a large house with a securely enclosed garden in a semi to rural environment.
- New owners will need to have a fair bit of time available to invest in the training that Cookie will need. If you are looking for a dog that is happy with a quick 5 minute stroll around the park then look elsewhere, as Cookie will need a high level of physical and mental stimulation.
- Ideally Cookie is not to live with another dog, but a mature, calm physically and mentally capable male or female would be considered.
- Cookie could live with a non-interactive, strong, outdoors type cat.
