Chevy is a sweet and loving dog once he knows you but he is very grumpy around new people therefore he will need plenty of time to settle into his new home.
Because of his stranger issues, anyone that is interested in Chevy will need to be prepared to visit him here at Brands several times before taking him.
Chevy will need owners with Hound experience. He is good with other dogs and could live with a female. He could possibly live with a male dog if it is the right match. Chevy lived with cats in his previous home.
Chevy can live with older teenagers who understand his fears around new people.
Due to his breed type, Chevy can live in a semi-rural or country environment only.
If you have had Basset's, Beagle's or anything similar please ask about Chevy.
