Cheeky Rusty

Rusty arrived at Battersea as a stray, he is very stressed and not coping with the restrictions of kennel life. He can be vocal but most of the time this is to get your attention, he is happy once out of the kennel and running around, sniffing or rolling in dirt!

Rusty is looking for experienced owners who have owned rescue dogs or Terriers before to understand his needs and traits. Unfortunately it appears Rusty has had little or no training in the past so his new owners will need to dedicate time to this.

Rusty loves being outside and having fun, his new owners will need to be active outdoor loving people prepared to offer him plenty of exercise in all weathers to keep him happy and stimulated.

Due to his unknown past we do not know if Rusty has lived in a home environment before, he may need housetraining and time to adjust. Ideally his new owners should be around the majority of the time, he would not like to be left for long periods.

Rusty cannot live with cats or young children, older teenagers would be considered that can be firm and consistent with his training. Although Rusty is social with other dogs he ideally needs a home without other dogs, an adult female would be considered.
