Andrex is a young and active Lab. She was brought into Battersea for a combination of reasons. Her previous owners had trouble keeping her mind and body occupied, which led to her disappearing acts. They decided she needed someone with more time and experience to get the best out of her.

Andrex has an inexhaustible energy. When she first arrived with us she had little concentration and no basic control. She is still a very high-energy dog, and always will be, but now has focus on handler and is learning very quickly. Andrex needs to bond with her handler before being let off lead, but once settled proves to be a loyal and loving friend.

Andrex needs owners who can channel her excessive energy into something productive. She will need someone with plenty of time and patience, and secure fencing. It is essential for Andrex to live in a rural setting, with access to off lead excercise. She could live with sensible older teens that are used to overly boisterous dogs, and will help with training. She is sociable with dogs but can be a bit full on. She would benefit from the company of others, and could learn from them, but these would need to be males only. Andrex would thrive in an environment where she received consistent and constant training. She will make a very enthusiastic companion for someone willing to put in the hard work first.
