Chas

During his earlier years, Chas may well have been an assistant to the bun maker in Chelsea, where he was found all lost and lonely last autumn. He still likes to knead his blankets, perhaps harking back to those heady days of his youth when he was an indispensable part of the bakery team. Or at least, he thought he was indispensable until the dark day when they got a younger and more agile cat in to keep the rodents away from the flour. Sad Chas lived among the bushes where he was fed by kindly residents on the estate, but with the cold weather approaching, they felt he needed proper accommodation and thus he came across the bridge to us. He is a calm, loving, affectionate lap cat who needs a secure home where he will be taken care of for the rest of his life. He could live with children aged ten upwards as long as they are gentle with him and let him have some of the licks at cake-making time. Prospective owners will need to speak to a Battersea vet prior to rehoming.
