Charlie Girl would be happiest living with someone who does not have too many visitors to their home. As a young kitten, the gas man seems to have given her a terrible fright and made her permanently wary of strangers. Imagine her distress then, when she came in to Battersea to be confronted with an endless procession of unknown faces peering at her. Squeaky at long last vacated the Penthouse Suite and Charlie was able to move in, where she has shown a great improvement and is now realising that all the people that visit her are either bringing food or staying to hang out and play with her. She needs to be the only pet in an adult household, preferably with people who either have had experience with shy cats before or who have been blessed with the patience gene. She must have access to a garden once settled.
