Sweetie by name and Sweetie by nature! This affectionate and active lady may not stand out in the crowd but to know her is to love her -- just ask any of the nurses in clinic, where she is a firm favourite! As Sweetie was not doing well in kennels -- she's too smart to just laze around all day! -- she has spent the last month in a foster home and her foster mum says that she is: * Housetrained * Sleeps alone without any problem * Is good with other dogs and tends to ignore them when out and about * Travels brilliantly in the car and on the train * Will play for hours in the garden by herself * Loves chews, walks and strokes in that order * Will find a tennis ball anywhere! Sweetie has great potential for training - and will need active and patient owners who will put time into that training. She will also need an adult household with no dogs as she likes toys and people to herself. Sweetie cannot live in an inner London home, as she is a strong dog and needs exercise. Her owners will need to work on her self control and encourage her to spend time alone gradually. She is a truely lovely girl and will go from strength to strength in the right environment. If Sweetie sounds like the girl for you please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and leave a message for our Rehoming team on 0207 627 9234.
