BIG character + BIG attitude all bundled into one tiny package = Monty

Monty arrived with us as a stray in a pretty sad state; he has had an obvious injury to his front leg, which will need to be discussed between out vet staff and any potential owners. Despite this his character has developed in leaps and bounds.

Monty is NOT for the faint hearted, his full of energy and mischief he will keep any potential owners on their toes! He has oodles of cheekiness and he will wrap any weaker owners around his little pinkie given half the chance. But he really is a fabulous dog and would be great for an active family who appreciate the characteristics of terriers.

A true terrier looking for a home where he will be given the guidance he needs. New owners must be ready to do on-going training with Monty for stimulation and for fun. He loves his food and loves his toys and is more than happy to work for his rewards.

He has his excitable moments and tends to turn walkies into a tug of war game on lead. But he is also capable of being calm and gentle. Independent chap who knows what he wants and ideally would like to rule the roost, he cannot live with children or other dogs, as he requires a huge amount of training. Due to the need for less distraction we would also require Monty to go to a home in a semi-rural environment.
