Thinking about sharing your life with a Battersea dog? Come and meet some of our canine chums who are looking for a new home.

The average stay for a dog at Battersea Dogs Home is just 23 days, but some dogs end up staying here a bit longer, through no fault of their own. Sometimes they need an extra-special new home, with experience of their breed or temperament, or they might not be suitable to live with children or other animals. Whatever the reason, the dedicated staff here at the Home take care of them until the right someone comes along.

Dogs and puppies cost �70 and this includes:

• a microchip


• free Petsafe membership for one year


• neutering or a neutering voucher


• a starter pack of food


• health check, vaccinations and certificates


• three months' outpatient treatment at Battersea Dogs Home


• access to the Behaviour Hotline
